Singapore Experience
PSIL has done a lot of projects and business in Singapore through our subsidiary Skycom. Major clients include Singapore Teleport, Singapore Telecom, Television Corporation of Singapore and many famous TV stations like Asia Business News (ABN), Walt Disney, BBC World Services. We are also the authorized contractor of Singapore Cable Vision ? the only cable TV company in Singapore.

Australia Experience
PSIL is the prime contractor of TVB(Australia) Pty. Ltd. We provided the design, supply & install the SMATV systems at the high rise buildings and DTH systems in the individual houses.

Another client Bank of China, it has been installed a Multi Satellite Reception System in the building (Chelesa). The tenants were being enjoyed the new technology and variety of entetainments from the world. It can be received many programmes come from two satellites within one dish antenna. According to the soomth development of the business, PSIL will build up more SMATV and Digital Terrestrial Television systems in the near future.

Malaysia Experience
PSIL is quite active in Malaysia. We are not only the authorized contractors of Mega TV and Astro, but also the installer of the satellite systems of Mega TV, RTM, Metro TV and National TV. We will have more activities in the coming few years.

Building Management System
Building Management System is a computerized monitoring system that replaces mimic panel. It has very good ability to handle various electric control within a building more efficiently. The system can manage thousand of monitoring points of E & M facilities such as Access Control, Automation Security, Fire Alarm and Lighting System. It also can monitor up to 5,000 cardholders of the access control system.

SATELLITE BUSINESS
PSIL provides complete installation and engineering service of SMATV and CATV systems for its clients. Over the past five years, it has completed over 600 installations in multi-block estates, multi-house villas, institutes, hotels and commercial buildings. Its clients include Office of the Telecommunications Authority, Hong Kong Government, Wharf Cable Ltd, TVB International Co. Technology Leader
PSIL has kept her satellite leading role in the territory for several years. It is the first company to install the biggest 30-foot mesh dish, the biggest 24-foot solid dish, the smallest 5-foot solid dish and the lowest noise of 23K LNB. Its solid experience ranges from large size USA Satellite systems, through medium size Asiasat systems and small TVRO fixed/motorized systems. Recently, PSIL has developed the latest technology - one dish antenna receives four satellites at the same time, so as to bring in more satellite TV programs to users.

PSIL is the major Asian distributor of well known satellite equipment manufacturers such as Chaparral, Drake, Echostar, Gardiner, Pace, Samsung, Winersat, Tagra and Venture.

VSAT Installation
Six months before the Government established SPETS License, Pacific had started VSAT installation for its client. There are totally 100 VSAT stations from 2.4M to 3.8M had been installed in Hong Kong and Southern China, linked to other Asian countries. The scope of works includes erection of antenna, system integration, alignment and bird tests.

FIBRE BUSINESS
A Fibre-Optic Engineering Team (F/O Team) was established in 1994 to develop the Fibre business. The team contains Engineering Manager, R&D Engineers, Installation Engineers, Testing Engineers and marketing professions. Today, the team grew up to the size of 15 persons.

Installation Experience
The F/O Team has intensive and wide range of experience in fibre optics engineering work. They include : Fibre System of Zhuhai Cable TV, Integration of Fibre Equipment for Shenyang Cable TV, Fibre Exchange Network in Shanghai City, Public Traffic Network in Haikou City, Fibre Network for Beijing Subway Stations and more.

Equipment Distributor
Having an experienced F/O Team, Pacific Satellite is awarded by Ortel as their sole distributor in China, Hong Kong and Macau to distribute the fibre optic system and engineering services. Ortel is one of the largest fibre-optic equipment manufacturer in the world. They are the only one company in the world to manufacture high quality fibre-optic equipment for satellite communication. They have the largest market share of this product in the world. We are also the distributor of Harmonic Lightwave's fibre-optic products. These proved that we have strong knowledge and expertise in fibre projects and equipment.

Fibre Professional
The F/O Team consists of many experienced and qualified fibre professional members. There are members having 10-15 years experience of design, assemble, splicing and testing of fibre system, completed the training in United States provided by Harmonic Lightwave and completed the installation training provided by AT & T.

Equipment
We have various professional equipment tools for fibre engineering work. They include OTDR, fusion machine, laser source, power metre and installation kits. we will also purchase more similar or different equipment if more jobs are awarded.

CABLE-TV BUSINESS
As cable TV systems continue to spread fast in the whole Asian region, PSIL has added in an entirely new and complete range of Cable Products - MMDS systems, Fibre Optics Transmitter and Receiving equipment, Cable Headends, Trunk Amplifiers and Encryption System. We have competitive experiences in System Design and Installation, Network Management and Development, Subscriber Management, Customer Service and Marketing.

System Design and Installation
PSILc has a team of engineers responsible for design of Pay TV/Cable TV systems. The team is able to create the best system design configuration suitable for any particular geographical locations. The ultimate objective is to provide the best quality at lowest cost. The installation and project management are also important to the implementation of a good design system. PSIL has successfully installed about 400 systems ranged from small to large sizes. We have sufficient resources and experties to ensure the smooth and accurate implementation of any system.

Network Management & Development
Network Management is crucial to the steamline operation and stability of a system. PSIL has solid experience to manage any sub-systems from the dish antenna, headend equipment, central distribution equipment, reception antenna, local distribution equipment, local network and domestic receiving equipment. We can closely monitor the network performance and provide maintenance services whenever necessary. Appropriate network development and enhancement are also made from time to time.
