Currently there are 2.2 million households in Hong Kong, most of them are living in high-rise building and the remaining small portion are staying in single houses, village houses or low-rise apartments. Since these portion of households cannot enjoy the pay TV services provided by the cable TV system and the SMATV systems, they can use Direct-To-Home (DTH) system instead.

Due to the relatively small size of DTH market, and the cohering efforts involved in reaching and selling to the potential subscribers of
DTH market, and a separate skill sets and business concept is required to meet the expectation of DTH subscribers. PSI has formed a
DTH Business Unit to determine and identify the market, define the sales plan, establish and manage installation teams and DTH sales
network to install and continue serve the subscribers.


Structure and Duties of DTH Business Unit

PSI DTH Business Unit (PSI BU) is responsible for achieving the best sales and customer penetration results, to meet installation
target and expectation, excel in installation quality and customer service, PSI DTH BU has implanted the following management
procedures to manage the sales and installation teams

i. Territory Assignment
ii. Job Assignment
iii. Standardization of installation procurement and tooling
iv. Training
v. Handle VIP customers
vi. Sales and Marketing Activities
vii. Cooperation with different pay TV service providers

DTH Service Hotline

A hotline has been set up for serving the DTH Service customers. The hotline will handle the general enquiries regarding updated
programming from various pay TV service providers, technical problems or any suggestions or complaints towards PSI.
